Virginia A. “Ginny” Hook, 83, of Allentown, passed away August 26, 2026, in the Inpatient Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospice. She is the wife of Joseph J. Hook for 63 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Richard Bailey and Doris (Scheirer) Lesko.

Ginny was a woman of faith who cared for her mother, husband, and grandchildren. She actively supported the family business, JJ Hook and Son Concrete Co., for many years. She participated in her children’s activities during their time at Notre Dame and Immaculate Conception schools.

Surviving with her husband Joseph J. are a son, Joseph D. and wife Gina of Mertztown; daughters, Kimberly Hook of Allentown and Sara Hook and fiance Michael Dower of Allentown; brother Rodney of Coplay; sister-in-law Kathy Hook of Bethlehem; and grandchildren, Jessica, Joseph, and Adriane Stump. She was preceded in death by a brother Richard.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 11, at 11:00 AM in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem. Family and friends are invited to a Visitation from 10:00 AM until the service begins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Lehigh Valley Hospice.
