William Ayala, 63, of Hazle Township, PA, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020.  He was the husband of Deborah (Rhoads) Ayala.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Felix and Maria (Gonzalez) Ayala.

A U.S. Navy veteran, he was employed as a Field Service Engineer for CND Technologies, Blue Bell, PA before retiring.

William was a member of Faith Assembly in Hazleton and also the American Legion.  He enjoyed fishing, traveling, woodworking, photography, outdoors and spending time at his cabin.

Surviving with his wife, Deborah, are twin daughters, Rebecca and Jennifer Ayala both of Reading; step-sons, Brandon and Kenton Yoder, both of Boyertown and Clinton Yoder of Lecanto, FL; a step-daughter, Shannon Yoder of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters, Iris Getzoff, Aida Flores and Alice Bell all of Bethlehem, Elizabeth Barrell of Lake Wales, FL, Aracelis Alvarez and Lourdes Susino, both of Muhlenberg Twp., Lydia Hildenbrand of Sinking Springs; brothers, Felix Ayala of Oviedo, FL, Hector Ayala of Fleetwood and Samuel Ayala of Huntsville, Alabama; two grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by sisters Maria L. Diaz and Luz E. Ayala.

Due to the pandemic services will be private at the convenience of the family, with burial later in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem, PA.
