William T. Cliff, 96, of Kirkland Village, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018.  He was the husband of Emeline (Wagner) Cliff.  They celebrated their 73rd anniversary on May 12.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Strohmeier) Cliff.

A Navy veteran of World War II, William was employed for many years by Stehley Signs and most recently by the City of Bethlehem in the Housing Rehabilitation Program.

He is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem and a former member of Bethlehem Lions Club.

Surviving with his wife, Emeline, are daughters, Susan Webster (Stephen) of Randolph, VT and Nancy Cliff (Craig Freas) of Silver City, NM; a brother, Thomas in Florida; a sister, Alethia Shurksis of Millersville; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers Robert and Jim.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 22, at 1:00 p.m. in the Kirkland Village Auditorium.  Burial will be private.  Arrangements, Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
