William F. Diehl, 62, of Walnutport, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017, in St. Luke's Hospital Anderson Campus, after he became ill at work.  He was the husband of Susan M. (Snyder) Diehl for 24 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late William R. and Elaine (Miller) Diehl.

He was employed as a machinist at Victaulic Co., Easton.

William was a classic car enthusiast  who loved hunting, fishing and going to car shows.  He loved spending time with family and friends, but especially his grandsons.

Survivors: Wife, Susan; son, Michael of Walnutport; brother, Parry J. Miller of Lancaster; sisters, Susan Clark of Bethlehem and Polly Poziwilko of Stevensville, MI; grandsons, Brody and Bryce Benson.  He was predeceased by a son, Christopher.

Services: Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, in Bethlehem Memorial Park.  A Memorial Service is in the planning process with date and time to be announced later.
