William M. Fillingham, 93, of Palmerton, went home to the Lord on Thursday, January 18, 2018, in Tranquil Living Personal Care Home, Palmerton. He was the devoted husband of the late Florence (Shoenberger) Fillingham for 58 years before her passing on December 18, 2007.

Born October 21, 1924 in Waterloo, NY, William was the son of the late Clayton and Julia (Dutcher) Fillingham. A proud CBI veteran, he served his country as a MP in the U.S. Army during World War II.

William was a salesman for Heimbach bakery for many years before moving on as the warehouse manager for Valley Distributing in Allentown. After retiring, he enjoyed walking the Weissport Canal for 25 years. He was an avid hunter and loved watching the Yankees and Flyers.

Survivors: Sons, Robert and his wife Peggy, Jerry and his wife Bridget; grandsons, Scott and his wife Julie, Chris; He is preceded in death by brothers Harvey, Arthur, and Wallace Fillingham.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, in Tranquil Living Personal Care Home, 112 Northcreek Road, Palmerton, PA 18071. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. until service time.
