William R. Fritz, 103, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 in Cedarbrook Fountain Hill. He was the husband of the late Betty E. (Brown) Fritz who died in 1982.

Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Mark and Elizabeth (Cross) Fritz.

William was a conductor and brakeman for the Philadelphia Bethlehem & New England railroad for many years before retiring. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

A member of the M.O.R.A. Club of Bethlehem, Bill was a 70 year member of the Railroad Union (United Transportation Union) and also belonged to the American Legion – Harry F. Johnson Post 379 in Bethlehem.

He is survived by a grandson Chad Kline of Fountain Hill.

Services will be Thursday, October 2, at 11:00 AM in the Pearson Funeral Home followed by burial with Military Honors at Nisky Hill Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the service at 10:00 AM.
