William (Bill) H. Hubbard, III, of Bethlehem, died peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2017, in Easton, following a valiant battle with brain cancer.

Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of William H. Hubbard, II, of Bethlehem and the late Barbara Fri Hubbard, who died December 4, 2017, eleven days before her beloved son.

A graduate of the Hill School, Bill was retired at the time of his death.  He had previously been employed by Weis Markets and ETI.  He also owned his own business, VirgII.  Bill was a member of Calvary Baptist
Church of Allentown and a member of the choir.  Bill was a devoted father and enjoyed coaching his daughter's teams.  Bill also volunteered for the Special Olympics and enjoyed playing squash and skiing.  Bill was an Eagle Scout and known for his fierce loyalty, big heart and infectious laugh.  His niece and nephew knew him as the "fun uncle!".

Survivors: Surviving with his father are a daughter, Lillian Margaret Hubbard;  sisters, Nancy Parks Hubbard and Margaret Bassett Hubbard; cousins, Stan, Bill and Sally Fri and Carol Fri Robinson, S. Thomas and George T. Hubbard, William T. Woodhull, Francie Schneck, Amory Hubbard and Wendy Bersing; nephew, Peter Haviland and niece, Emily Haviland.  Bill is also survived by his beloved cat, Moe.

Services: A memorial service will be held after the holidays.
