Hazel Winifred Dalgewicz, known by her family and friends as Winnie, 73, of Delaware Township, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on October 20, 2018, in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.  She was the wife of Chester William Dalgewicz.  They shared 50 wonderful years of marriage together.

Winnie was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on September 6, 1945 to the late Herbin and Marian (Kincaid) Schwab, the first of three children.  She was a graduate of Wilson Borough High School ('63) and earned her Bachelor of Science degree at East Stroudsburg State College ('67).  She retired after 25 years of teaching Health and Physical Education at Delaware Township Schools.

She belonged to the Methodist Church in Sergeantsville, NJ and also in Oakland, Maine. Winnie was a 50 year member of Calypso Chapter #163 - Order of the Eastern Star, South Hunterdon County Book Club, and was a People to People Delegation leader for 12 years.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, being in the kitchen, world travel, antiquing, researching her genealogy, summers at her cottage in Maine and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Chet; son, Tad  (Fran Hawkins); daughter, Amy Ellis (Sean); brother, Rodney; sister Jennifer Chilmonik (George); grandchildren, Ashley Coughlin (Kevin),  Brittany Beisel (Billy), and Ainsley; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Logan, William and Landon.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 3, at 11 a.m. in St. John's United Church of Christ Church, 8065 William Penn Highway, Easton, PA 18045.  Arrangements by Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem, PA.
